Piper cams reinforced cam timing belt. Fitment: All cars with Rover K-Series engine prior to November 1998. And any cars with manual tensioner - e.g. Exige S1 and Elise Sport 190 (not 111S or VVC).

When modifying your engine, the cam belt is often overlooked. If one breaks the damage caused can be an extremely expensive end to a top-end or complete engine rebuild.
The Piper extra life competition belt is specially manufactured for performance use where the engine is subject to operating periods and conditions were the the life of the standard cam belt may be significantly reduced.
It is still recommended that these belts are replaced at the standard intervals.
