Following hot on the heels of our successful 390 and 410 power upgrade kits, we now have the new 430 kit, to take your supercharged Exige S  and Evora S even further!

The 430 kit produces 430bhp and 340lb/ft (460NM), a further increase of 20bhp and 10nm over the 410.  This power upgrade can be applied incrementally to an existing 390 or 410 with no replacement of existing upgraded parts, or all at once to a standard car.

We are pleased to announce the availability of our performance upgrades and accessories for the Exige V6 and Evora models.

Specifically developed items include JRZ suspension, supercharged engine power upgrades, and Avon ZZR tyres – whilst many accessories cross over from existing Exige models including harness bars and harnesses.

The supercharged V6 engine in the Exige and Evora S models delivers 345bhp and 295lb/ft as standard, but with our power upgrade packages this can be taken to 390 or 410bhp. Not only is top-end performance enhanced, but torque is improved too, increasing mid-range and in-gear performance.

Following on from our previous two years successful racing activities, Hangar 111 Racing goes into 2014 bigger and better than ever.

For the upcoming 2014 season, we will be running three cars in both the Lotus Elise Trophy and the Lotus Cup UK championships. Joining last years S1 Elise, is a newly built S1 race car, and a brand new Elise Cup R!  All the cars will run in the Production classes of both championships, and so remain relatively standard, within the bounds of the regulations, which result in a power to weight ratio of around 200bhp/tonne. With a mixture of sprint and endurance races, it provides lots of close and exciting racing.

With three novice drivers, it promises to be a learning experience for all, but we hope to see some good progression throughout the season as the cars and drivers alike, develop.

Our successful 2013 race campaign continues with a little extra, in the upcoming Lotus Elise Trophy season finale.

In support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance, our familiar S1 Elise race car, will be transformed to carry the EAAA livery. The fund raising team will join Hangar 111 at Snetterton on 26th October to help raise awareness of the life-saving charity, with Andrew Bentley continuing his championship campaign.

‘Supporting the EAAA is something we are happy to do because there are so many synergies between our respective operations. In our motorsport activities, precision, timing, knowledge and instinct are all critical elements – if all these come together we win races. We believe the same thing applies within the EAAA operation, from the pilots skills in bringing the aircraft into and out of complex situations, through to the medics who need to be fast and accurate in order to make the aircrafts presence even more valuable’.

Greg from Hangar 111 is set to appear in the new series of hit TV show “Wheeler Dealers”.

When the show producers decided to feature a Lotus Elise in the new series, they turned to us at Hangar 111 for help with both finding a suitable car, and how best to improve the car for re-sale.

Working with a number of our partners, we were able to provide the Wheeler Dealers with a project car and technical support, along with a number of our favoured upgrades, that feature in the programme.

The feature airs on the Discovery Channel tomorrow evening, with subsequent repeats also to appear on Quest.
