Komo-Tec Elise S3 1.8 220 SC Phase 2

The 1.8 supercharged S3 Elise differs from its predecessor with a new generation of Toyota engine, and the addition of a chargecooler system. More power can be made from the engine by improvements to the exhaust and induction systems.

The original exhaust manifold is taken from the Toyota donor car, and has small bore and short lengths. Replacing this with an optimised stainless steel 4-1 manifold and sports catalyst, allows the engine to breathe better.

To improve the induction, a TRD airbox is installed, to allow a greater volume of cooler air to reach the engine.

To take best advantage of these changes, and ensure the safety and longeivity of the engine, an ECU remap is required which optimises the ignition, injection, and variable cam timing to deliver 240bhp and 188 ft/lb of torque - an increase of around 20bhp over the standard car.

The upgrade kit consists of:
- High quality stainless steel 4-1 exhaust manifold
- 200cpi sports catalyst
- TRD airbox induction
- Engine management system reflash
- Installation at Hangar 111

Note that this kit is not supplied with a sports exhaust silencer, however it is strongly recommended to use one, to ensure that the stated power is achieved.  See accessories tab, for our Signature exhaust option.
