Synchromesh rings do wear over time however, giving a notchy gearchange and that nasty 'crunch' we all dread. These uprated rings will give smoother and more durable performance in all conditions.
With correct maintenance, the Rover PG-1 gearbox can handle anything from general road use to the extremes of racing. Our supercharged Rover K-Series cars retain their PG-1 gearbox and run over 260bhp and 180lb/ft on the track without issue.
